Christmas Together in Epsom
Christmas Together at Epsom Methodist Church provides a Christmas lunch on Christmas Day each year for those in our borough who might otherwise be on their own (and this includes couples too). We 'do' the full Monty for lunch -turkey, roast potatoes, Christmas pudding, mince pies, Christmas cake and much more.
After lunch, we have a little light entertainment, watch the Queen's broadcast and generally have a good time. If you know anybody (and it might even be yourself) who might like to come along to lunch, then just give me a call.
There is no charge for lunch - this is funded by Epsom Methodist Church. Transport to and from Church can be provided if necessary.
For this event to be successful we do need some help and you can help in many ways.
We need help on Christmas Day:
Can you host a table looking after guests?
I know Christmas Day is a lot to give up but it is very rewarding.
Can you help with transport? If you can give up a couple of hours on Christmas Day driving guests to and from Epsom Methodist Church it would be a great help. Janet Brogan is organising our transport effort so if you can help, contact Janet on (01372 729186)
Help is also needed on Christmas Eve setting tables, peeling veggies, laying out crockery etc. The more help we have the easier it is so if you can come along just let me know.
