A day for all the church family will be held at EMC on Saturday 13th January 2018, so please make a note of the date, keep it free and plan to join us as we share in an exciting time of fellowship, worship and teaching from our guest speaker, inspiring and empowering us to play our part in God’s mission.
Books on Prayer
Do we want our Prayer life, both individually and as a church, to grow and develop? In line with the sermon series on Prayer this month, a number of new books have been added to the book shelves at the back of the church. They cover a whole range of aspects of Prayer, so please take a look and see if there is something that you might like to read.

December Children’s Activity Day
As part of our activity & craft sessions I should appreciate help to obtain the following:- Cardboard tubes - eg tin foil, cling film; Pringle crisps tubes with lids; Metal lids, marmalade, jam, honey etc. & small ones from drinks bottles; White plastic tubing - any lengths as they will be cut to size; Finally a "man with a drill" who would be willing to help me put holes in the metal lids! Please leave in the Church Office. With many thanks, Helen Griffin

Waitrose in November
Whilst I probably shouldn't try and promote one supermarket over another did you know that during the month of November the greentokens that you pick up for spending money can support our Christmas Together Lunch at EMC? So why not shop at Waitrose in the Ashley centre for a change, grab those green tokens at the checkout and drop them into the bin marked EMC Christmas Together Lunch? Tony Blakeburn
