FOREST CHURCH

Forest Church Banner

“Forest church is an opportunity to interact with nature and its creator.  There are activities for all ages, and all are welcome, regardless of outlook on faith.

We will meet regardless of the weather, so please check the forecasts and come prepared!

Activities include nature hunts, crafts, games, Bible stories and guided meditations – finishing off with a picnic together, so bring some food and a blanket or chair.

Throughout the year EMC runs a number of both regular and one off events.

Our regular events include:
Christmas Together; Holiday at Home;  (brief details below).
In addition, there are a number of events specifically for children and families
Recent one-off events have included:
Inspire (a day of fellowship, worship and teaching);

CHRISTMAS TOGETHER

Christmas Together has been an annual celebration at EMC on Christmas Day for many years. Volunteers from the church and local community help to make this a very special and popular event. A Christmas meal with all the trimmings, a quiz, a Christmas sing song and the Kings speech all together make this a special and happy event and this year was no exception. Transport is provided for those who need it and everyone leaves with a packed Christmas goodie bag and big smiles!

HOLIDAY AT HOME

holiday at home
Every August for the last five years (apart from 2020) we have run "Holiday at Home" for the elderly members of our congregation and many friends who would not otherwise be able to go away for their own holiday.   To see a report  click here

EPSOM CHARITY BOOK FAIR

Book fair - events
For 19 years we ran the Epsom Charity Book Fair for three days over the February Half Term week.  Sadly we are no longer able to continue with this event.
In 2020 we raised over £40,000 for charity, had over 3,000 people visiting the Fair where they could buy from a selection of about 60,000 books on almost any subject which you could imagine (and a few which are completely new!).
