Christmas Together 2024
Over the years EMC has been delighted to offer Christmas hospitality to those who might otherwise be on their own. Various factors mean that this year we cannot provide traditional Christmas dinner. We will however be inviting guests to come along and join us at our 10.30 Christmas morning service where we will be celebrating the real meaning of Christmas. There will be eats, treats and quiz and all finishing by 12.30.
If you have attended the Christmas lunch before and not received an invite please enquire at the church office
Christmas Together 2023
This year, due to a changeover in hosts, we are hosting a smaller event. The Christmas lunch will be for those who have previously attended and will be alone at Christmas. If you have attended before and not received an invitation, please call the church office on 01372 728535.
Christmas Together 2022
After two years absence we were delighted to play hosts to over fifty people, plus volunteers, to enjoy a Christmas Together meal and celebration.
Christmas Together has been an annual celebration at EMC on Christmas Day for many years. Volunteers from the church and local community help to make this a very special and popular event. A Christmas meal with all the trimmings, a quiz, a Christmas
sing song and the Kings speech all together make this a special and happy event and this year was no exception. Transport is provided for those who need it and everyone leaves with a packed Christmas goodie bag and big smiles!
Christmas Together is supported by generous donations from a local charity and supermarket. The Sri Raja Rajeswari Amman Hindu Temple in Stoneleigh also kindly contribute a large number of gifts every year.
This is a wonderful community event and we hope it will continue in the years to come. Lisa and Keith Halstead
